This is a companion repository to the OpenImageIO source code (https://github.com/AcademySoftwareFoundation/OpenImageIO), used just for testing.

AcademySoftwareFoundation/OpenImageIO is for the source code to OpenImageIO.

AcademySoftwareFoundation/OpenImageIO-images is a place to store (potentially large) test images and the like that we don't feel belong in the main code repo.

For original code, we use the Apache-2.0 license, and for documentation, the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 Unported License.

Many images in the OpenImageio-image repo have separate licenses, which are documented to the best of our ability in our list of third-party licenses.

The OpenImageIO project is part of the Academy Software Foundation, a part of the Linux Foundation formed in collaboration with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The technical charter and Project Governance explain how the project is run, who makes decisions, etc. Please be aware of our Code of Conduct.
