Project Lineage

DroidKlipp Android APK is an open-source Android APK project forked from XServer XSDL.

The original XServer XSDL project is an Android port/package of X.Org X Server technology and related Android/SDL integration work. This repository keeps that lineage and license attribution intact while packaging the modified DroidKlipp APK used with DroidKlipp/KlipperScreen.

Original Upstream Credit

Credit and thanks to the original XServer XSDL authors and contributors, including the Android/SDL work by pelya and the X.Org/XFree86 contributors whose copyright notices are preserved in LICENSE.

DroidKlipp Modifications

DroidKlipp-specific changes include repackaging/rebranding for DroidKlipp usage and producing the downloadable DroidKlipp.apk release asset.

License

This repository preserves the original XServer XSDL/X.Org license text in LICENSE. The inherited code is primarily under the MIT/X11-style X.Org license plus legacy permissive X11/BSD-style notices included in that file.

Additional third-party Android dependencies may carry their own notices inside the APK/decompiled project files, including Apache-2.0 licensed AndroidX components. Those notices remain in the repository where included by the APK build/decompile output.
