Fastrepl Individual Contributor License Agreement

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Anarlog. This Contributor License Agreement (the "Agreement") clarifies the intellectual property license granted with contributions to Fastrepl, Inc. ("Fastrepl"). It protects you as a contributor as well as Fastrepl and users of Anarlog. It does not change your right to use your own contributions for any other purpose.

By accepting this Agreement through CLA Assistant using your authenticated GitHub account, you agree to these terms for all past and future Contributions you intentionally submit to the Work.

1. Definitions

"You" means the individual copyright owner, or the individual authorized by the copyright owner, entering into this Agreement with Fastrepl.

"Contribution" means any original work of authorship, including modifications or additions to existing work, that you intentionally submit to Fastrepl for inclusion in the Work. A communication is not a Contribution if you conspicuously mark it "Not a Contribution."

"Work" means the Anarlog project maintained at github.com/fastrepl/anarlog, excluding the enterprise/ directory unless Fastrepl separately confirms the applicable contribution terms in writing.

2. Copyright license

Subject to this Agreement, you grant Fastrepl and recipients of software distributed by Fastrepl a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contributions and derivative works of them.

You retain ownership of your Contributions. Contributions to the Work outside enterprise/ may be distributed under the repository's MIT License.

3. Patent license

Subject to this Agreement, you grant Fastrepl and recipients of software distributed by Fastrepl a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable, except as stated below, patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work. This license applies only to patent claims you can license that are necessarily infringed by your Contribution alone or by combining your Contribution with the Work to which it was submitted.

If you bring patent litigation alleging that the Work or a Contribution incorporated into the Work infringes a patent, the patent licenses you granted under this Agreement for that Work terminate as of the date the litigation is filed.

4. Authority to contribute

You represent that you are legally entitled to grant these licenses. If your employer or another party has rights to intellectual property you create, you represent that you have received permission to make the Contribution on their behalf, that they have waived those rights for the Contribution, or that they have executed a separate agreement with Fastrepl.

5. Original and third-party work

You represent that each Contribution is your original creation. If a Contribution includes or is based on third-party material, you must identify its source and provide complete details of any license or other restriction you know applies to it.

6. No warranties or support obligation

Unless required by applicable law or agreed in writing, you provide Contributions on an "AS IS" basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, including title, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

You are not required to provide support for your Contributions. Fastrepl is not required to use or incorporate any Contribution.

7. Continuing accuracy

You agree to notify Fastrepl if you become aware of facts or circumstances that make your representations in this Agreement inaccurate.

This Agreement is adapted from the Apache Software Foundation Individual Contributor License Agreement, version 2.2.
