Sample data

Every file in this directory was written for these examples. None of it is a captured artefact, a real drawing, a real solver run, or a real bill of materials.

The manufacturer names are real companies. The part numbers, descriptions and prices attached to them are illustrative and were made up. They are shaped to look like each vendor's catalogue conventions so the examples read naturally, but no claim is made — and none should be inferred — that any given code corresponds to a real catalogue item, or that any two of them are genuinely interchangeable. Do not use bom_pairs.jsonl as a cross-reference table.

Likewise:

• calculix_run.log is a hand-written file in CalculiX's output style. It is not the output of a real solve. The numbers are chosen to depict a run that cuts back and fails, because that is what the example needs to triage.
• part_bracket.md and drawing_notes.txt describe a part that does not exist. The names in the revision history are invented.
• change_requests.jsonl describes a machine that does not exist.

The point of these files is to give each example a realistic shape of input. Any engineering conclusion drawn from their content is meaningless.
