INSPIRE Geoportal

This repository was used as the helpdesk for the INSPIRE Geoportal, formerly hosted at https://inspire-geoportal.ec.europa.eu.

The Geoportal was discontinued on July 1st, 2026, as announced in this dicussion thread. The Geoportal content is now fully integrated with the European Data Portal, the single entry point for EU data operated by the Publications Office of the European Union.

The folder INSPIRE Geoportal 2026 archive includes a zipped archive of the freezed html pages of the former INSPIRE Geoportal, created before its discontinuation. Similarly, the folder INSPIRE Monitoring and Reporting Archive includes a zipped archive of the html pages presenting the results of the INSPIRE Monitoring and Reporting processes from 2019 to 2025, where indicators were calculated using the INSPIRE Geoportal.

Following the discontinuation of the INSPIRE Geoportal, the issue tracker of this repository has been closed, as announced during the 87th INSPIRE MIG-T Meeting. To still offer a discussion channel to the community, the Discussions section of this repository is still kept open.

Instead, to report generic questions or start generic discussions related to INSPIRE, please use the generic INSPIRE helpdesk.
