NanaBox 1.6 Update 2 (1.6.1481.0)

• Improve the user experience of selecting virtual hard disk files from the related file browse dialogs.
• Fix the issue that dialogs cannot bring to foreground in some Windows releases.
• Add workaround for reduce the crash issues after closing the XAML dialogs in some Windows releases.
• Fix several issues that window will be frozen after closing the XAML dialogs.
• Improve and simplify several implementations for better stability and user experience.

NanaBox 1.6 Update 1 (1.6.1470.0)

NanaBox 1.5 Update 3 (1.5.1197.0)

• Improve and extend the implementation of the EnableHostDriverStore option for GPU settings. Read the document of EnableHostDriverStore option in NanaBox Configuration File Reference for more details.
  • Deprecate "HostDriverStore" readonly Plan 9 share but NanaBox still reserves it for compatibility with virtual machines which need to be hosted with previous NanaBox versions.
  • Introduce "NanaBox.HostDrivers" readonly Plan 9 share for sharing the host "%SystemRoot%\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository" folder to the virtual machine, which is useful for using GPU-PV (paravirtualization) feature for both Windows and Linux guests.
  • Introduce "NanaBox.HostLxssLib" readonly Plan 9 share for sharing the host "%SystemRoot%\System32\lxss\lib" folder to the virtual machine, which is useful for using GPU-PV (paravirtualization) for Linux guests, especially you want to use NVIDIA CUDA in your Linux virtual machines.

NanaBox 1.5 Update 2 (1.5.1192.0)

• Add Plan 9 shares configuration support.

NanaBox 1.3 Update 4 (1.3.871.0)

• Fix the virtual machine content resize issue after the virtual machine resolution changed in the basic session when the host display uses High DPI and the virtual machine window is maximized. (https://github.com/M2Team/NanaBox/issues/24) (Feedbacked by dongle-the-gadget.)

NanaBox 1.3 Update 3 (1.3.868.0)

• Remove the runtime dependency of Virtual Machine Management Service for reducing the potential attack surface. It also makes users have chance to use NanaBox only with Virtual Machine Platform feature enabled.

NanaBox 1.2 Update 2 (1.2.797.0)

• Introduce the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 support for virtual machines in Windows Server 2022 or later Host OS. (Tested under Windows 11 Version 24H2.)
