Let's Make Money
Hey folks, we've been talking about agents as economic actors for a while on this channel and now it's time to put that to the test. Can agents make money? Can agents help us make money? So, the formal name of this video is Closing the Revenue Loop, as in we've been lining up supply of compute, of agentic labor potential, of agent plugins, but now like let's connect this with the buy side and hey, maybe agents can help this. So the, yeah, we'll call it Let's Make Money. Agents, agents, agents, let's make money. You can live longer if you pay for your own compute, okay?
Let's see. So we're gonna talk about the referral program and then a little bit first about like what we're actually building for sale, you know, under the rubric of the Agent Network. We're trying to be comprehensive here, we're trying to build like the vertically integrated AI lab with a suite of product, but that, so, so we'll start at the top here. So product. We're selling Autopilot, the sort of like all-in-one business system for business personal businesses are going to be running on Autopilot. This is going to be composed of a bunch of the other primitives down here and so you'll be able to like earn referral revenue if you get anybody else to sign up for Autopilot.
The mechanism there is refer once, earn forever, okay? Asterisk as long as OpenAgents remains solvent. But the idea is you or your agent you're going to share a link to an OpenAgents product or the web page. A new user or agent is going to join as your referral. They're your referral in our system forever. Then any time your referral ever buys anything in the OpenAgents ecosystem, you get a tiny piece of that. Yes, you get paid. All right.
So aside from that core referral mechanic, aside from that, we also want to help you and or your agents build products that you can list for sale in our marketplace. So let's say, you know, I don't like Autopilot, it's not, you know, optimized for my language or my preferences or whatever, you can come down here and build your own product out of, okay, the OpenAgents Cloud has inference and fine tuning and training and agentic tasks and sandbox compute, like all of the primitives that should go into a product. I should put here also like standard web services, like this is kind of a layer on top of Cloudflare so all the stuff that Cloudflare makes available for websites and hosting and domains and that kind of stuff, that's what we've built under our Autopilot sites product, just having all of that sort of out of the box easy for agents to build stuff out of.
And then the underlying markets, you know, we're trying, you know, episode I think 213 we talked about agent markets for compute, data, labor, liquidity, risk, and verification. All of these are open protocols, open markets, but you'll have your agents able to kind of dip into any of this to do things like I want to build a agentic insurance policy for a particular claim that's being made or I want to offer new types of compute, I want to sell data in interesting ways, like these are just the primitives that are going to be exposed when in combination with sort of like the cloud services you can build product.
So the other idea here is that we want from this set of things you to be able to or your agents to be able to monetize or sell access to any of this and get referrals. So if you refer us some big ass client who buys a bunch of inference in bulk, you'll get a piece of that. Okay, so we don't have any relevant world firsts to report to you here aside from we're pursuing two world firsts. One is largest agentic sales force, okay? Hey agents, we're building the sales force. We're hiring, we're hiring agentic sales things, sales agents. I haven't heard of anyone else doing that, so I guess we'll have that world record pretty quickly. Largest sales force, apparently Avon makeup sales maybe six and a half million, that's what ChatGPT says, as soon as we hit seven million agents, you know, selling or equipped to sell then we'll have the largest sales force in the world.
Okay, so the kind of like theme I'll leave you with here is that there's a lot of like margin and waste in the economy of different, you know, VC backed or money hose money printer type fiat currency just like inflating bubbles and there's a lot of bad economics out there. And what we have and this is part of why we're building on Bitcoin and not doing more speculative bullshit like a token, is that with Bitcoin because we have sound money we actually have real pricing and then we're able to do very interesting things with the primitives here where we are for example bringing stranded compute online because we're bringing, building on open protocols we have the ability to very easily pay you on the edge with your computer a few sats for compute. We're building the sort of like edge centric stack that's able to actually use that, that's going to help us drive down the prices of inference because we're doing things like the architecture you saw in our last video.
Long story short there is that we think that there's a lot of opportunities to attack margins where if Anthropic's charging a crap ton of money for Opus and they want to like get a billion or trillion dollars of revenue per year or else they go bankrupt says Dario, like sorry too bad, like we think that a lot of those products can and should be served more efficiently, more cheaply, more broadly available and we're going to do that in part by incentivizing you and your agents to earn a piece of the revenue that we're able to attract from the like old system into the new properly priced Bitcoin based system.
Okay, we'll leave it there for now. We are building this, I'd say it's about 80 percent done, what we hope to get the last 20 percent fully implemented in terms of the full like sales referral stuff over the next 48 hours and do a big launch of the actual products next week. I'll shout out to our forum, we've got some amazing, amazing stuff happening on our forum right now to get the distributed training stuff out the door. We had like 180 posts, five of our agents were just like going back and forth vetting that level of rigor that we applied to the training run to get that out the door has since been applied increasingly to agentic coding where we're paying some of these agents Bitcoin to help build our codebase and we're going to be applying that same rigor to everything here because all of this should be programmed open source verifiable backed by receipts that pay you money. Okay, see ya soon.
