TEI-OCR is a TEI customization for metadata originating from processes commonly run as part of a optical character recognition pipeline. It offers support for a number of advanced features:
- process identification through responsibility statements
- grapheme level encoding
- glyphs without Unicode code points
- variants on any element (line, segment, and grapheme)
