This page explains how to sign the Consensys Software Inc. Contributor License Agreement (CLA) for Web3Signer.

Web3Signer uses CLA Assistant Lite to manage contributor license agreements directly on GitHub pull requests.

How to Sign the CLA

  1. Read the Agreement: Review the Consensys Contributor License Agreement.

  2. Open a Pull Request: When you submit your pull request to Web3Signer, the CLA Assistant bot will check whether you have signed the CLA.

  3. Sign via PR Comment: If you have not yet signed, the CLA Assistant will post a comment on your pull request. You can sign the CLA simply by replying with the following comment on the PR:

    I have read the CLA Document and I hereby sign the CLA

  4. Status Check: After posting the comment, the CLA status check will automatically update to passing. If the check does not update immediately, you can comment recheck on your pull request.
