This directory contains repository-internal documentation for contributors and maintainers.

• architecture.md - system boundaries and trust model.
• development/ - setup, verification, release operation, contributing an integration, and adding a Web Client target.
• api/ - internal transport and authentication notes.
• decisions/ - architecture decision records.

Public plugin and SDK documentation belongs in the Starlight site under docs/.

Keep engineering documentation concise. Document architecture, workflows, contracts, decisions, and non-obvious constraints. Link to implementation files instead of restating their contents.
