Documentation

This repository now keeps a small primary documentation surface in docs/:

1. technical_design.md
   The implementation-level design for the protocol, adapters, metrics, and runner.
2. ../protocol/protocol_spec_v0.md
   The protocol contract: phases, splits, path types, and required metrics.

Older planning notes, paper-oriented drafts, and internal logs are intentionally excluded from the primary documentation surface.
