Codex Switch is a modified derivative of Frank Song/dsh-codex-connect, which itself includes software derived from Yan-Zero/dsh-codex.
The Codex Switch work began from the Codex Connect
v0.1.0-alpha.4.5 release. Copyright and attribution for both upstream
projects are retained in NOTICE and LICENSE.
Codex Switch changes
Copyright 2026 CHAKEW. The derivative work includes, among other changes:
- a new package and plugin identity,
dsh-codex-switch; - a native repository for multiple independent ChatGPT OAuth accounts;
- Manual and Automatic account selection, per-account participation, ordering, usage display, renewal, sign-out, backup migration, and rollback;
- an exclusive-owner migration path from
dsh-codex-connect; - revised Web settings and account-management interfaces;
- provider-backed banked reset discovery and redemption in Web, plus banked reset inventory in the account-usage CLI;
- quota-window lifecycle classification that keeps capacity separate from stable reset anchors;
- explicit, confirmed, account-scoped quota warmup across authorized Codex model pools;
- additional route, filesystem, OAuth, image-fetch, and diagnostic hardening;
- expanded integration, security, migration, UI, and packaging tests;
- pinned-source reset-lifecycle research and implementation notes; and
- updated English and Chinese user documentation and release validation.
Files changed from the upstream release are identifiable through this repository's Git history and by comparing the upstream tag with a Codex Switch release tag. New and modified work is distributed under Apache-2.0 together with the retained upstream material.
