This is an application for locating nearby stations and viewing real-time availability of the BiZi bike-sharing service in the city of Zaragoza.

Its an open-source alternative to the official app developed and provided by Lyft, which requires Google Play Services to work, in addition to monitoring and tracking your activity ⚠.

You can locate the station on the map based on your current location, search for a station name or number in a list, and save your favorite stations.

The station status is color-coded to indicate whether bikes are available 🟢, full station 🟠 or empty station 🔴.

The app is unofficial and does not come with any kind of support, although I would love to receive suggestions and bug fixes 💌.

Data

These are the online sources the app needs to connect to in order to work:

• The status and location of bike stations are provided by the Zaragoza City Council open data initiative.
• The WMS service is provided by the Zaragoza Spatial Data Infrastructure IDEZar.

These services are hosted at www.zaragoza.es and idezar.zaragoza.es respectively.
