Goal: Assessing wether they can deliver results
Two kinds of assessment:
- Technical Assessment
- Soft Skills / Personality / Culture
Technical Assessment
Assess, can they do the job.
There are many styles of interviewing:
- Algorithms
- Architecture
- Take home assignment
Algorithms
Benefits people who are familiar with algorithms (recent grads)
Take Home Assignment
Benefits people who have the time.
Should be time limited.
Trial
Soft Skills / Personality / Cultural
Assess, how do they do the job.
- What is their personality like, can you work with the person?
