Contribution Guidelines

Please ensure your pull request adheres to the following guidelines:
- Search previous suggestions before making a new one, as yours may be a duplicate.
- Make an individual pull request for each suggestion.
- Use the following format:
[EVENT](LINK) - DESCRIPTION. - Use the following when a date is applicable:
[EVENT](LINK) - DESCRIPTION (MONTH DAY# - DAY#). - New categories (a.k.a. cities) are welcome.
- Keep descriptions short and simple, but descriptive.
- End all descriptions with a full stop/period.
- Check your spelling and grammar.
- Make sure your text editor is set to remove trailing whitespace.

How to create a Pull Request
- Click
Forkon the top right. This will create a copy ofawesome-eventson your account. It looks like this:
- Click on the file you want to edit, for instance
README.md:
- Then, click on the pencil icon above the file:

- When you're done changing the file, scroll to the bottom, optionally add a description and hit
Commit changes:
- Almost there! Now hit create a new Pull Request:

- Hit the following button and change and/or add a description of what you've done... and than hit
Create pull request:
- You'll get notified once it's merged, and receive ethernal gratitude ✌️
