Download the latest release from GitHub Releases:

Build from Source

Prerequisites

  • C++17 compiler (GCC 9+, Clang 10+, MSVC 2019+)
  • CMake 3.16+
  • SQLite3 development libraries
  • OpenSSL development libraries
  • libcurl development libraries
  • Python3 development libraries + pybind11 (optional, for polyglot — without pybind11 the embedded Python executor is not built and <<python>> expression blocks evaluate to null via the subprocess fallback)

Linux (Ubuntu/Debian)

sudo apt-get install cmake ninja-build libsqlite3-dev python3-dev \
  libssl-dev libffi-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev pkg-config
python3 -m pip install pybind11   # enables the embedded Python executor

git clone --recursive https://github.com/b-macker/NAAb.git
cd NAAb
cmake -B build -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
cmake --build build -j$(nproc)
sudo cp build/naab-lang build/naab-gov /usr/local/bin/

macOS

brew install cmake ninja openssl@3 sqlite3 pkg-config curl
python3 -m pip install pybind11   # enables the embedded Python executor

git clone --recursive https://github.com/b-macker/NAAb.git
