Code of Conduct

Our pledge
We pledge to make participation in cortex-viz a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.
Expected behaviour
- Be respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences.
- Give and accept constructive feedback gracefully. Critique the code, the claim, or the design, never the person.
- Accept responsibility for mistakes, apologise to those affected, and learn from the experience.
- Back technical claims with evidence: a reproduction, a measurement, a test, or a citation. "It works on my machine" is not an argument, and neither is seniority.
Unacceptable behaviour
- Sexualised language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind.
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks.
- Public or private harassment.
- Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or email address, without their explicit permission.
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
Scope
This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces (issues, pull requests, discussions, and commit messages) and when an individual is officially representing the project in public spaces.
Enforcement
Report abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour to the maintainer at admin@ai-architect.tools. Do not report it in a public issue.
All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. The maintainer is obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter.
Who enforces this. cortex-viz has a single maintainer (see GOVERNANCE.md), so the maintainer both receives and decides reports. That is stated openly because it is a real limitation: if your report concerns the maintainer, you may instead report it to GitHub through https://github.com/contact/report-abuse, which is outside this project's control.
The maintainer may take any action deemed appropriate, including warning the individual, temporarily or permanently banning them from interaction, editing or removing comments, commits, and issues, and explaining the reason where doing so does not compromise a reporter's privacy.
