Answer validation, the Jev request/answer types and the text helper's reply-format parser come from jev-dev-kit 0.2.0, the framework extracted from this extension. Providers and the HTTP code stay here; behaviour is unchanged.

debugger is a required permission: Chrome does not allow it as an optional one (the store dropped it with a warning). The Options switch still decides whether trusted input is used; off, synthetic DOM events are used. Updating from 1.4.x re-asks for permissions once.

Trusted input: clicks, typing and Enter go through the DevTools protocol (optional debugger permission, on by default, switchable in Options). Pages receive real user input: javascript: links, hover menus and handlers that check isTrusted work without special cases. Chrome shows its "started debugging" bar during a run; dismissing it stops the run.
One execution pipeline: the page checks freshness, scrolls the target into view, waits for it to stop moving and checks for cover, then input is dispatched (trusted, or synthetic when the permission is missing or DevTools owns the tab). Post-action waiting is a DOM-quiet window instead of fixed delays.
Action results carry a code (stale, missing, disabled, offscreen, covered, failed, invalid) so the loop decides by kind, not by message text. Number fields are set directly.
npm run e2e:input: model-free check of the trusted-input path on fixture pages; npm run build:test makes the headless build with the permission granted up front.

javascript: links are clicked in the page's main world (via the background), because a click from the extension's isolated world is checked against the extension's CSP and blocked. Fixture and suite task added.

Logo applied everywhere: icons re-rendered from assets/icon.svg with pixel-bound centring and even padding (toolbar sizes on a dark tile), popup and options headers, the in-page status bar, README, and the store promo tile.

New icon (assets/icon.svg, rendered by scripts/render-icons.mjs at 16/32/48/128) and a 440×280 promo tile for the store listing.

Manifest description shortened to the Chrome Web Store limit; privacy policy and store listing material added under docs/.

Renamed to Jev for Chrome (repository chy4pro/jev-for-chrome; the old URL redirects). Extension name, popup and options titles, package name and release archive name follow.
