Volto addon to use blocks inside fields

Note: this repository contains the frontend (Volto) widget only. If you are using the server-side field package (collective.volto.blocksfield) you must also install this frontend package in your Volto project. See the backend package and its documentation here: https://github.com/collective/collective.volto.blocksfield

Usage

If you are using Volto < 16, then use v2.1.0

If you are using Volto < 12, then use v1.0.3

This is a widget for fields that have the widget set to 'blocks'.

Default allowed blocks are: Text, Video, HTML, Table

but you could customize your allowed blocks by adding this configuration to your config.js.

The Sidebar rendering strategy (react-portal vs native createPortal) is chosen automatically based on the installed @plone/volto version, no configuration needed.
