The standard, in one paragraph

The Eurobox is defined by VDA Recommendation 4500 ("Small Load Carrier (KLT) System"), published by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). It standardises footprints of 600×400, 400×300 and 300×200 mm — sub-modules of the 1200×800 Euro pallet and 1200×1000 ISO pallet — a height grid of 147.5 / 213 / 280 mm with a uniform 15 mm stacking insertion depth, plus materials (PP copolymer), colours, load ratings (20 kg fill / 600 kg top load), crush testing, and marking rules. The European umbrella standard for small load carrier systems is EN 13199 (parts 1–3), which VDA 4500 references for the maximum 600×400 footprint. Consumer/retail "Euroboxes" (Auer, Utz Rako, etc.) share the standardised footprint but use their own height series — including the common 23 cm and 31 cm boxes modelled in this repo.
