Roadmap of the EUDI Wallet reference implementation provides a transparent view of the features and enhancements that are currently being developed or planned to the future. Its purpose is to promote open communication and collaboration in our community.

The EUDI Wallet Reference Implementation is available in open-source. It is developed iteratively, with new features being implemented based on community needs and the evolution of the Architecture Reference Framework. Read more about the EUDI Wallet Reference Implementation.

Introduction to the roadmap

Feature descriptions and details will be updated as their analysis progresses. If the feature is scheduled for implementation, the estimated release schedule is displayed on a quarterly basis. Status of the feature means the following:

  • Funnel: Candidate feature for the backlog; decision on implementation pending.
  • Backlog: Feature agreed to be developed and implementation scheduled.
  • In Development: Feature under development.
  • Done: Feature ready and published. Item on the roadmap provides information about the feauture and link to the release notes.

The roadmap is primarily updated quarterly regarding the schedule. Significant changes will be announced in the discussion.

You can view the roadmap via planned release timetable (quarter view) or development status (status view).

To keep the roadmap clear and easy to read, commenting on the roadmap items has been disabled. We use discussion feature for the collaboration - read more below.
