After building a cross platform desktop version of Fluster I've decided to focus solely on the Apple ecosystem for now by rebuilding the core of the application yet again, this time in Swift to integrate all of Apple's native features with the application. This deep integration with Apple's incredible library of tools and API's given to developers just wasn't possible with cross platform libraries, as amazing as Tauri is.

The goal is to maintain full mdx support, while integrating Apple's amazing pencilkit to allow full hand-drawn documents alongside any mdx documents. From there, the mdx content will be fed to onboard AI models for various tasks. Unfortunately, passing the hand drawn content to language models would require quite a bit of finagling and will take some time, but using the mdx content alongside hand drawn content, while linking the two together seamlessly, we can provide a full set of AI features while providing the structured output that mdx provides, while still allowing the free-flow thinking that hand drawn documents give.

This app will hopefully be ready for release in early 2026.

The Unification

Finally, after 5 years of spending every waking moment working on this problem, I have what I was looking for:

α=12αGMR33=12αddRg3±0.0034% \alpha = \frac{1}{2 - \alpha} \sqrt[3]{\frac{GM}{R^3}} = \frac{1}{2 - \alpha} \sqrt[3]{\frac{d}{dR}g} \pm 0.0034\\\%

Where $1/\sqrt{2- \alpha}$ is a spinor function akin to that found quantum mechanics.

That's a α\alpha, the fine-structure constant that describes the interactions and geometry of the electromagnetic field defined in terms of gravitational parameters to undeniable accuracy. It'll be controversial, but the Earth is expanding with the rest of the Universe, and that is the source of gravitational acceleration. This follows logically from a single mathematically equivalent modification to Einstein's relativity that resolves a paradox that I believe is absolutely impossible in reality as we experience it: relativistic simultaneity... the idea that an instantaneous event can occur at multiple places in time based on a coordinate transformation.

This is the problem Fluster was originaly created to help me resolve. You can see a more complete derivation here, written in Conundrum and transpiled by the same tool that powers Fluster.

The world is about to change.
