How to contribute to Makani

Did you find a bug?

• Make sure the bug was not already reported by searching the Issues

• If no open issue addressing your issue is found, open a new one. Include a title and clear description, with as much information as possible. Code samples are appreciated. The more thorough you are, the quicker we can address the issue!

Did you write a patch that fixes a bug?

• Open a new GitHub pull request with the patch

• Ensure the PR description clearly describes the problem, your solution, an any other relevant details - such as any assumptions or test cases you considered.

Do you want to propose a new feature or change an existing one?

• Suggest the change as an issue, or

• Hop in to the Discord to discuss. Based on the discussion, we might ask you to write up an issue 🙂
