Use this calendar to turn real project work into useful public updates.

Week 1: Cost-Aware CSI 300 Validation

Theme: "Gross factor edge is not net performance."

  • Publish the Chinese technical article with the cost-sensitivity chart.
  • Post one community-specific version, then leave time to answer comments.
  • Use the zero-account Colab as the only call to action.
  • Record Colab opens, new stars, and completed reproduction reports separately.

Week 2: Independent Hardware Evidence

Theme: "How fast is masked tensor factor computation on your machine?"

  • Publish the exact make benchmark command and maintainer CPU baseline.
  • Ask specifically for one CUDA and one Linux CPU result.
  • Update docs/benchmark_board.md.
  • Add each verified external result to the README community evidence table.

Week 3: Cross-Market Reproduction

Theme: "Reproducing factor IC workflows without proprietary data."

  • Re-run the ETF-20 or ten-stock yfinance factor-IC case.
  • Publish the factor table even if results are weak or negative.
  • Ask for one different public universe, with date range and failures recorded.
  • Convert provider rate limits into documented evidence rather than hiding them.

Week 4: One Factor Family Under a Microscope

Theme: "213 factor dimensions in a mask-aware PyTorch engine."

  • Explain one factor family with tensor shapes, masks, and warm-up behavior.
  • Add a shuffled-label or sign-flip sanity check.
  • Publish both successful and failed variants.
  • Open one tightly scoped contribution issue based on reader questions.

Reusable Post Hooks

  • "I am looking for benchmark results from different CPUs/GPUs."
  • "If the quick start fails on your machine, please open an issue."
  • "Public-data examples are welcome, especially with clear caveats."
  • "Small docs PRs are useful and appreciated."

Metrics to Track

  • Stars and forks.
  • Issues opened by external users.
  • Benchmark reports.
  • Public-data reproduction reports.
  • First-time contributors.
  • README quick-start failures.
  • Zero-account Colab opens and completed runs.
  • Visitor → Colab and clone → star conversion, where observable.

Publishing Cadence

  • Publish at most two substantive community posts per week.
  • Separate platform posts by at least 48 hours and rewrite the opening for each audience.
  • Spend the day after each post answering comments and turning repeated questions into docs.
  • Do not treat views as success unless they lead to a run, report, issue, or contributor.
