Amplifier Backup Hook Module

Transcript backup and preservation hook for Amplifier sessions.

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.11+
  • UV - Fast Python package manager

Installing UV

# macOS/Linux/WSL
curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

# Windows
powershell -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"

Purpose

Automatically saves conversation transcripts to persistent storage for backup, audit, or replay purposes.

Contract

Module Type: Hook Mount Point: hooks Entry Point: amplifier_module_hooks_backup:mount

Behavior

  • Saves transcripts after each turn
  • Configurable backup location
  • Optional compression
  • Timestamped file naming
