A fully functional OpenCore EFI for installing and running macOS Big Sur (11.x) on the following hardware.

Notes

This EFI is designed specifically for:

  • ASUS PRIME Z370-A
  • Intel Core i7-9700F
  • Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580

Since the i7-9700F does not include Intel UHD Graphics, this EFI requires a supported dedicated AMD graphics card. The RX 580 provides native macOS support and does not require additional graphics patches.


BIOS Settings

Before booting macOS, configure your BIOS as follows:

  • Load Optimized Defaults
  • Disable Fast Boot
  • Disable Secure Boot
  • Disable CSM (UEFI Boot Only)
  • Enable XHCI Hand-off
  • SATA Mode → AHCI
  • VT-d → Disabled (or enable DisableIoMapper in OpenCore)
  • Primary Display → PCIe
  • Disable Serial Port (optional)

Before Using

Generate your own SMBIOS information using GenSMBIOS.

Replace:

  • System Serial Number
  • MLB
  • System UUID

Never use someone else's SMBIOS values if you plan to use Apple services.
