Heroku deployed app: https://team2application.herokuapp.com/
User types:
1. Administrator
Permissions:
- view list of all registered users
- assign roles to users
2. Operator
Permissions:
- CRUD operations on all entities
- assign roles to users
3. Regular User
Permissions:
- see informations about all entities in readonly mode and every moment have actual information from server
4. Visitor (not logged in)
Permissions:
- register to the system
- see privacy policies
- see version of the product
5. DevOps (not logged in)
Permissions:
- access to deploy instructions and product version
- specify version on deploy
How to deploy to Heroku
- Login to heroku
heroku login
- Build container
Build docker image:
docker build -t team2application .
- Create and run docker container
docker run -d -p 8081:80 --name team2application_container team2application
- Heroku container login
heroku container:login
- Heroku push
heroku container:push -a team2application web
- Release the container
heroku container:release -a team2application web
Deploy informations for DevOps:
- set product version in cmd using following command:
dotnet build /p:AssemblyVersion={version} ({version} has a similar format to '1.2.1.4')
- use local docker and add following commands in project's root opened cmd in order to build image and to create and run docker container:
docker build -t team2application .
docker run -d -p 8081:80 --name team2application_container team2application
Now, it runs locally and in order to make a Heroku deploy the step 1 and those from 4 to 6 described above in 'How to deploy to Heroku' section have to be followed.
