ani-cli-rs is an open-source Rust command-line application and library for searching, resolving, and playing media streams provided by third-party services.

Media and Third-Party Sources

ani-cli-rs does not host, upload, maintain, or operate a library of the media that it resolves.

The application may query third-party websites and APIs at runtime and may receive media or stream metadata from those services. Resolved streams are passed to the user's local playback or download software.

For HLS sources that require local processing, ani-cli-rs may create a temporary loopback relay on the user's device. This relay exists solely to facilitate playback and is not an internet-facing media host or proxy.

ani-cli-rs does not control the availability, ownership, licensing, or copyright status of content served by third-party services.

Copyright Complaints

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative and believe that material accessed through a third-party service infringes your rights, please direct the relevant complaint to the service or hosting provider responsible for that material.

Because ani-cli-rs does not host or control those third-party services or their media, the project cannot remove media from those services.
