These terms govern access to and use of the Brainstack repository, source code, documentation, examples, scripts, releases, and related materials.

Summary

Brainstack is proprietary source-available software. All rights are reserved.

The only permission granted by this repository is narrow personal, non-commercial, local evaluation and local personal use.

No commercial licence is granted by default. Commercial use, redistribution, hosted services, SaaS use, integrations, derivative products, model training, benchmark services, resale, sublicensing, or use inside a paid product or paid workflow requires prior written permission from the copyright owner.

Public availability on GitHub does not grant any additional rights beyond the limited permission in these terms. Any rights GitHub itself provides for viewing or forking repositories through GitHub remain subject to GitHub's own terms and do not create a licence to use Brainstack outside these terms.

This summary is not a separate licence. If there is any conflict, the full terms below control.

Permitted Use

You may:

  • read the source code;
  • clone the repository;
  • run Brainstack locally for personal, non-commercial evaluation;

  • remove or obscure copyright, authorship, legal, attribution, or repository notices.

Commercial Licensing

Commercial rights are available only under a separate written agreement signed or otherwise explicitly approved in writing by the copyright owner.

That agreement may require a licence fee, royalty, revenue share, usage-based fee, attribution, audit rights, reporting, or other commercial terms.

Unauthorized commercial use is not licensed. If you use Brainstack commercially without permission, no licence is granted for that use, and the copyright owner reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law.

Contributions

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, any contribution you submit to this repository is offered for inclusion under these same terms. Submitting a contribution does not grant you commercial rights to Brainstack.

Do not submit code, documentation, data, or other material unless you have the right to submit it under these terms.

Proprietary Source-Available Terms

All rights are reserved. No public reuse rights are granted unless a future version of this repository explicitly includes different written terms and explicitly supersedes these terms.

Publication of the source code does not grant permission to copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, sell, host, commercialize, or create public derivative works beyond the limited personal, non-commercial use described above.
