Please download the HOT dataset following instruction from the project website. The images folder contains raw images, the annotations folder contains contact label images, and the segments folder contains body segmentation images to facilitate the training process.
Note that currently the HOT dataset annotations are released at image-level, not instance level, similar to semantic and panoptic segmentation in scene understanding.

Contact and human-part label semantics

Human part labels
./vertex_label_new.npy contains part labels for SMPL body vertices (10475,).
Instance-level contact annotations
The contact labels in HOT v1.0 are similar to the semantic segmentation map, where different instances of contact that belong to the same human part are mixed together. To facilitate relevant tasks and applications, we release the instance-level contact annotations in form of polygons similar to instance segmentation tasks. Example annotations:
