AG-UI Demo

This is a demo project implementing the AG-UI protocol with OpenAI integration.

Prerequisites

• Python 3.11
• pip (Python package manager)
• OpenAI API key

Setup

1. Create and activate a virtual environment (recommended):

python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows use: venv\Scripts\activate

2. Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

3. Create a .env file in the project root and add your OpenAI API key:

OPENAI_API_KEY=your-api-key

Running the Server

Start the server with:

uvicorn main:app --reload

The server will be available at http://localhost:8000.

Testing the Endpoint

You can test the endpoint using curl:
