Scope

• Service API(s) “KnowYourCustomerAgeVerification” (see APIBacklog.md)
• The API(s) provide(s) the API consumer with the ability to:
  • check if the user of the line is older than a provided age, in order to provide API customer's age-restricted services, access to its age-restricted website etc..
• Describe, develop, document, and test the API(s)
• Started: September 2023 (within KnowYourCustomer)
• Incubating stage since: February 2025

• NEW: The latest public release is r1.3 (Fall25), with the following API versions:
  • kyc-age-verification v0.2.1 [YAML] [ReDoc] [Swagger]
