Schema

All API access is over HTTPS or HTTP, and accessed from the registry.npmjs.org domain. All data is sent and received as JSON.

Authentication

There are two ways to authenticate through the API.

Basic Authentication

  • Authentication required.
  • In any delete, note that the version number still cannot be reused.
