A world map background expansion pack for Suntimes.

This addon provides map backgrounds for the World Map dialog. It requires Suntimes v0.17.3 or later.

Backgrounds:

  • Blue Marble (2002)
  • Blue Marble (2002) [Sea Ice]
  • Blue Marble (2005)
  • Blue Marble (2005) [Bathymetry]
  • Earth's City Lights
  • Solar Textures
  • Solar Textures [Bathymetry]
  • World Bedrock Digital Elevation Model

Map backgrounds can also be downloaded individually and loaded in Suntimes using the Set Map Background option.

Nightly Version

A "nightly" version is available at https://forrestguice.github.io/SuntimesMapPack-nightly/fdroid/repo/. To install the nightly version, add the repository to your F-Droid client.

  • "nightly" versions can be installed alongside the official release.
  • "nightly" versions of add-ons depend on the "nightly" version of Suntimes.
  • "nightly" versions are debug builds; they are not meant for everyday use but may be useful for testing or debugging.

Use the issue tracker to submit a bug report or a feature request.

When reporting a bug please be detailed as possible. What did you expect the app to do, what did you actually observe? Include app version numbers in your report. Other useful information includes the Android OS version (and sometimes your specific device model).
