PixlCore LLC ("PixlCore", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we handle data in connection with the xyOps software and our website.

1. Overview

xyOps is self-hosted software.

PixlCore does not operate, host, or control Customer deployments of xyOps. By design, xyOps does not transmit data to PixlCore or any third party operated by PixlCore.

2. Data Collected by xyOps Software

PixlCore does not collect, receive, store, or process any data from Customer installations of xyOps.

Specifically:

  • xyOps does not include telemetry, analytics, or tracking
  • xyOps does not "call home" to PixlCore servers
  • xyOps does not transmit usage data, logs, or metrics to PixlCore

All data processed by xyOps remains entirely within the Customer's own infrastructure.

Customer is solely responsible for all data stored or processed within their deployment.

3. External Network Requests

3.1 Software Updates

xyOps may make outbound requests to third-party services (such as GitHub) to check for or download updates.

  • These requests are initiated by the Customer or system administrator
  • PixlCore does not receive or collect data from these requests

3.2 Marketplace Plugins

xyOps may support third-party or community-developed plugins ("Marketplace Plugins").

  • No Marketplace Plugins are installed by default
  • The Marketplace Plugin index is hosted entirely on GitHub, and only requested on-demand
  • Plugins, once installed, may make their own outbound network requests to external services
  • Such behavior is determined by the plugin itself, not PixlCore
  • Each plugin's documentation should describe its behavior

PixlCore is not responsible for the data practices of third-party plugins.

Customers should review plugin documentation before installing or using plugins.

4. Information Collected by PixlCore

PixlCore may collect limited information in the following contexts:

4.1 Website Usage

When you visit our website, we may collect basic information such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Pages visited

This information is used for standard website operation, security, and analytics.

4.2 Support and Communications

If you contact us (e.g., via email):

  • We collect the information you provide
  • This may include your name, email address, company name, and message content

This information is used solely to respond to your request and provide support.

4.3 Billing and Payments

When you purchase Support:

  • Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (e.g. Polar.sh, Stripe)
  • PixlCore may receive billing-related information such as:
    • Name
    • Email address
    • Company name
    • Transaction details

PixlCore does not store full payment card or bank details.

5. How We Use Information

PixlCore uses collected information to:

  • Provide Support services
  • Process billing and manage subscriptions
  • Respond to inquiries
  • Improve our website and services

We do not sell personal data.

6. Data Sharing

PixlCore does not share Customer data from xyOps installations (because we do not receive any).

We may share limited information with:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Polar.sh)
  • Service providers necessary to operate our business

These providers are only given the information necessary to perform their services.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide services
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect.

However, Customers are responsible for securing their own infrastructure and data within their xyOps deployments.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Object to certain processing

10. Third-Party Services

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services, including:

  • Marketplace Plugins
  • External APIs or services used by Customers
  • Payment processors

Customers should review the privacy policies of those services.

11. Children's Privacy

xyOps is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
