(C++) standard

 

A standard defines what is and what is not valid C++ code.

 

There are multiple standards:

• C++98
• C++0x, before being officially named to C++11
• C++11
• C++0y or C++14
• C++0z or C++17

 

The C++14 working draft of the Standard ([1]) can be downloaded freely and legally at the GitHub of the next C++ Standard its working draft.
