CheemaFy

CheemaFy is a special tool to ease your experience with Linux

• Steps to intall CheemaFy

  • Clone the this repo to your PC using git clone https://github.com/srbcheema1/CheemaFy
  • Now change directory to CheemaFy. cd CheemaFy
  • Now install CheemaFy by running the command ./CheemaFy
  • In case you see Thanks for using CheemaFy, installation is complete

• Some configurations asked during installation:

  • Do you want to configure home_files (y/n) :
  • This is to ask if you want to configure home files or not
  • It includes .bashrc .gitconfig .vimrc .bash_profile
  • Do not run this command again. Else it will add duplicate lines in your home-config files
  • Do you want to configure vim plugins (not recommended) (y/n) :
  • skip this step as it is in dev stage.

• Steps to toggle on/off CheemaFy

  • To turn off just run the command cheemaFy --disable
  • Similary you can turn it on again by cheemaFy --enable

• Steps to remove CheemaFy

  • Delete the folder ~/.CheemaFy
  • Remove the files of CheemaFy from .bashrc .gitconfig .vimrc .bash_profile
  • Please provide me your suggestions if it was creating any problem. I will surely remove that.
